A lovely brass eight day twin fusee repeating bracket clock by John Ilbery (Ilbury) of London.
The high quality movement with a verge crown wheel escapement striking on a bell. Bob pendulum and four knopped pillars, with a fine foliate engraved backplate. The brass dial with a silvered chapter ring, with black Roman hours and Arabic minutes Subsidiary date aperture and inscribed ‘John Ilbery / London’ to the polished silvered centre. Strike/silent dial to the arch.
